just watched this biographic film about Hans Joachim Marseille on you tube, flying scene’s not very good but ground shots are good (Buchon’s, Storch,) and for the purist on here there’s even a shot of a Spitfire SD-L, the film was made in Spain in 1957…

They were indeed Hispano HA1109s.

Yes great film Jack – I have not seen it for some time but the aircraft flown were more akin to HA-1109- K 1L with Hispano engines – not a bad stand in for Me109’s.
