I’ve had these bits of wreckage over 35 years now and only recently dug them out of the attic to try and identify them. I was 5 when my father worked in Shannon airport and I remember him bringing home this rather odd looking ‘light’ which had a ball bearing inside. When we holidayed some years later( early 80’s I think) near shannon I found this wreckage buried in a ditch adjoining the field where the plane came down. He told me recently it was sept 1977. A quick look on google tells me that an Interconair Bristol Brittania EI-BBY crashed that year at Shannon. Perhaps someone could help identify the parts and confirm from serial numbers if it is indeed from this plane?

Quite a few Tony. I’ll try to get a few more photos. Thanks for looking.
