A couple more questions re BAPC aircraft. First, the Blackburn replicas from Flambards theme park, BAPC.129 & 130, variously described as “1911 monoplane” and “Mercury”. Were there in fact two? 130 is now looking good at Elvington, but no sign of 129. The earlier threads are not too clear on this, and confirmation would be welcome. Or are these two descriptions of a single aircraft?
Secondly Bleriot XI BAPC.132, now marked up as “G-BLXI” at the European Fighter Museum at Montpellier. Some sources call it a replica built by EMK Aviation under PFA number 088-1086-4 and formerly at Duxford. Others claim it as an original, restored and then sold at Christies in the early 1950s. To complicate further, it is also said that it is the same machine as BAPC.189 once at the Museum of Army Flying and since unseen. Can anyone please reconcile these ?
