Evening all,
I have the construction/data plates for an RCAF Avro Anson (along with a small bit of airframe structure) and wondered if anyone could tie up the manufacturers serial number with an RCAF serial?
The information I have is as follows:
Boeing Aircraft Company of Canada Ltd.
Avro Type 652A
Serial: BA48591
Drawing G999
Issue CA24
Work Order No. 9069
Date: 28/5/43.
The Mods plate gives the same serial (48591).

It’s doubtful you will tie this to a specific airframe as Boeing Aircraft Of Canada Ltd didn’t construct any complete Ansons, they only made tail surfaces, wings spars, ailerons and flaps, so the plates you mention are likely to relate just to components.
