RT Codes were 112 Squadron, so presumably the action depicted was during the Greek campaign of 1941?
Bingo.

Where did StG3 operate?
(Edit; Greece amongst others)

That isn’t a Sea Gladiator, which would indeed encounter Ju87s over Malta, but neither are the markings on the Ju87 those of the Greek campaign. There they would be carrying yellow cowlings and tail feathers. I would agree that the scenery looks more appropriate for Greece or Crete, but the white band on the rear fuselage places the action in North Africa. There may be something in the first volume of Chris Shores’ Mediterranean Air War.

It’s possible. Two encounters I’m aware of:
27 May 1940. Bodo, Norway. F/Lt. C B Hull, 263 Sqn. claimed 1 Ju 87
02 Jun 1940. Narvik, Norway. F/Lt. A T Williams, DFC & Sgt. H H Kitchener DFM, 263 Sqn. claimed 1 Ju 87 shared
I suspect they just picked something at random, though.
ETA: They were Gladiator Mk IIs, though!

Perhaps in Norway? Or did the RAF not use the Gladiator in Norway?

Did Stuka’s ever attack Plymouth…?
I seem to recall only 247 at Plymouth was the only BoB Gladiator unit, and the few encounters they had were against Dorniers and Me110’s…..and given that they didn’t stand up at Plymouth until 1st Aug, there might have been scant chance of any encounters with Stuka’s down there before their withdraw from the BoB 2 weeks later….??
