An odd request,have always thought early spits had the box and tube type ventilators fitted as per drawing 30027-124G buuuuut with 30027-34H it shows the other holed box and wheel type ventilator seen on the later Spits..Any rhyme or reason?

Yes, our Spit (crashed recovered) cockpit has the “holed box with wheel” type as well. It’s Mk.1, s/n P9451 delivered April ’40, so definitely an early one.
