Conspicuous Gallantry Medal ?

Is there a way of obtaining a copy of his medal entitlement or any known relatives Jules ?
Or any post war photos available ?

No, i doubt it, it did not come from the family, and i’ve exhausted searching the web……………

He would not be allowed to wear `unofficially`any medal…against KR/QRs….

does anyone know if there is an official list of CGM awards ?

could it be that he wore this ribbon unofficially after the war ?

It’s a rare medal, he doesn’t appear listed here

The ‘London Gazette’ is the best place to start looking. It can be a bit of a trawl if you don’t have all his details, service number, date of award etc.
