Wellington memorabilia?

This is a long shot.

My local pub is called the Wellington, named after the Vickers aircraft that operated from the local airfield (About 200 yards from the pub) during the early part of WW2. They have a lot of memorabilia scattered about the place, and a tribute area with his story devoted to Sgt James Ward who earned his VC from here.

They have just extended the restaurant and now have more display space available and are looking for items to put there.

Should anyone have any Wellington items that you’d prefer to see on public display rather than stuck at the back of your workshop gathering dust I can put you in touch.

Doubtless any loan/gift items would be worth a few drinks.

(I have no commercial connection with the pub, other than boosting their profits from time to time.) :very_drunk:
