An interview with Eric Carter, 81.Squadron who flew with the Russians at Murmansk

Having seen this months magazine I wondered if this may be of interest as a personal insight to flying in Russia as part of the Lend Lease?

I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Eric who flew with No.81 Squadron and took part in the lend lease scheme with the Russians.
He flew in Murmansk with the Russians and this first part of my interview covers his memories from the first time he saw an aircraft until he flew in Russia.
