Top of the morning to you!
I am looking for a flattened drawing of the components of frame 8 for a Mark IX spitfire.
I don’t wish to use CAD and have them laser cut, but as my first attempt at making such a thing I would like to reverse my understanding. I have the available Supermarine drawings, but I do not have the expertise to interpret the drawings into something that I can use as a template and cut out from aluminium sheet.
I would like to get the flattened drawings to help learn how to convert the drawings into a 2D template to cut around.
I hope this rambling makes sense. Basically I am looking for a 2D drawing of the components that I can them make and form into the correct shape, before assembling the frame.
