Does it matter what aircraft somebody is going to fly on? Just wait until the day you go and you’ll find out.

I don’t think it does matter what a/c you fly on, just as long as you get to where you are going! I personally think it would be better to wait until the day you go because it is more of a suprise.

I remember my flight to LHR-SFO about two years ago, I had no idea I would be travelling on a 747-400, and was really excited when I got to gate to see it standing there as it was the first time I flew on such a magnificent aircraft.

You make a good point, espiecially as you can find out in most cases the aircraft type with some self internet research.

I agree, most airlines offer info on their websites as to what a/c they use, even some scheduled airlines will tell you exactly what type of a/c you will fly on if you put in the destination and dates you are travelling. For charters though it is usually a 737, 757, 767, A320, A321 or A330 for short-haul flights, but as Flex said, with a bit of self-research, I am sure you can find it out. Either that or you could ask your local travel agent to find out for you.
