Can I pick your collective brainds please? How many Hawker Hurricanes were equipped with cannons during the Battle of Britain. It seems to me they were outgunned by the Me109 and I believe only a handful hadcannons? Looking trough my numerous books does not provide the answer so thought I could ask here? Thanks in advance. My late granddad might ave known as he was an armourer in the RAF and gave me a spare 20mm cannon shell left over from the war, a dud I think! and it is a scary projectile if thinking of it flying at you at 700mph or whatever when fired!
