B-17s in 'A Family at War'

The entire Granada TV series ‘A Family at War’ is now on ‘You Tube’. I would draw your attention to the episode ‘Braking Point’ from Series 3 which was filmed at Creil near Paris and features three IGN B-17s fitted with rather unconvincing dummy chin and dorsal turrets. One of the taxying B-17s is what later became ‘Mary Alice.’ The episode was screened on ITV on 22.12.71 so the filming was probably in the summer of 1971. To find the episode on ‘You Tube’ search under ‘A Family At War S3 E12’ Braking Point. Some episode guides incorrectly refer to the title as ‘Breaking Point.’

Another episode features Lancaster NX611 though I don’t know which one.
