Normandy Museums – C-47s and B-26 Marauder

A recent holiday in Normandy enabled me to photograph these C-47s in a couple of the Overlord museums in the region.

43-15073 at the Merville Battery Museum:

42-100825 (painted as 43-15159) at the Airborne Museum, Sainte-Mère-Église:

N4332E (painted as “43-15510”,originally 44-76229) as a walk-though exhibit at the same museum and in which one can experience what it may have been like on board a C-47 on D-Day.
