Picked this up a while ago while exploring a pre-war RAF aerodrome on the south coast. Obviously from a very early (1920s?) machine and probably from a bad crash on the airfield. It’s a bit hard to photograph it showing all the detail so I’ve done a quick drawing alongside. Just for my own curiosity, I’m wondering if anyone out there can ID the exact type of aircraft it came from? It’s solid brass by the way.
