Intercom Amplifier Type A1553

Can anybody tell me anything about this unit, please. What aircraft was it used on?

I have discovered it is covered by A.P.2876C – does anyone have a copy please? (I’ve already checked the National Archive online catalogue, and the only ‘hit’ is for A.P.2876A)
