Duxford Airshow

Hi All

Would anybody who attended the recent airshow at Duxford be kind enough to give me some details of the show?

Were there any discernables difference in the flying displays? Were the aircraft further away or higher? Did the pilots perform any aerobatics? Was there a feeling that the the air display was to term a modern phrase more “vanilla” That is more in the way Shuttleworth aircraft display?

Notwithstanding the skill of the pilots did anybody have the feeling that they were holding back in any way?

Moving outside of the airfield were there any road closures or diversions in the vicinity?

Had the cost of attending increased since last year?

As its one of the first shows it would be interesting to see how the new edicts from the CAA have affected the airshow scene. I’ts great that Duxford managed to hold the airshow, I can only imagine the amount of paperwork they had to fill in and hoops they had to jump through!
