Hi, I’m looking for a Jet Provost airframe, doesn’t need to be internally complete, stripped would be fine. Any version would be of interest. Anyone know of one in the UK which may be up for grabs?
It’s destined for internal museum display, not to be reduced to a cockpit only.
Many thanks

Weald Aviation do have one, not a flyer, I believe you need to be quick as I think they have somebody interested in the cockpit only.

Looks like the one at the Birmingham Jet Aircraft collection could do with coming indoors.
Birlingham. 😎
That whole collection could do with coming indoors, but more likely it is too far gone! Apparently the owner isn’t interested in selling.

There is a rough example sitting fenced off at Balado airfield in Perthshire. I don’t know who owns it, or if they could be tempted to part with it.

Thanks for the heads-up, but both too good for our needs.

Weald aviation had at least one for sale, from memory, but their website is being updated/upgraded. I think they were selling a flyer in need of a service, so maybe not the best choice.
