Strange

Hi all it’s been a while but I have a question about a photo I found it is of a Wellington Mk111 at Husbands Bosworth the strange thing is the front turret has been faired over. The airfield was a satellite for Market Harborough and the unit was 14 OTU my late fathers unit.
