Sea King on display at RNAS Culdrose

A SPECIAL ceremony has taken place at RNAS Culdrose to officially handover the custodianship of a decommissioned Sea King Mk 5 helicopter which serves as a permanent reminder of the role of 771 Naval Air Squadron and their bravery of its personnel.

The helicopter XV673 – call sign 827, which was involved in numerous rescues around the Cornish coast is now situated just inside the fence at RNAS Culdrose opposite the Cottage Hospital…
