Can any members help with the identification of this part. I presume firstly that it is an American part due to the colour and secondly that it could be a tank jettison release mechanism ??
There is a stamp on one side near the base which has the letters and numbers ‘SG93’ and on the other side ‘SJ820A’
What aircraft type would this have been fitted to ??

Looks like a Dunlop hand brake lever, as fitted to Ansons, etc.
