Can anyone help ID this?

Many years ago, probably 90s, I was Foulness on another matter but snapped this and have no idea what it is.

I have had it suggested that it is a bomb onto which small wings (and possibly a rear end) have been grafted for a prank.

It’s a P15 Termit aka Styx or Silkworm depending on country of origin.

Anti ship missile

It was one of these that HMS Gloucester took down with a Sea Dart when it was only a short distance away from slamming into USS Missouri. The only ever confirmed missile against missile kill under real combat conditions.

Thank you very much, that’s very interesting.
