I’ve not surprised by these route announcements and have thought that Liverpool was an under-used airport by EZY for a long time, flying to the normal EZY locations and nowhere exciting. These new routes add some more interesting destinations such as Krakow and Marseille and this must surely be good news for everyone at Liverpool.

i think Luton – Lisbon could be a good route for them as well. Perhaps if Monarch and TAP didn’t have as many flights from LGW to there as they do, EZY may have launched from there but now a Lisbon route is launched from north of London too, so it gives the option of travelling from the centre, south and north.

Coming back to the Aircraft Basing, I think Liverpool will stay 737 for the time being, with A319 in the future and Luton remaining 737.
