Oberleutnant Rudiger Proske Stab 1 / ZG26

Dear all,

Does anyone have a decent photograph or additional info on Oberleutnant Rudiger Proske that they would be willing to share?
Also, a google search seems to imply that he was shot down by A R D MacDonnell of 64 Squadron on August 18th 1940.
Can anyone confirm that is accurate? I don’t see it in the ORB or MacDonnell’s combat report for the 18th August.
Kind regards

Gerry

MacDonald is also credited in “Zerstrorer” by Vasco and Cornell.
Could it be that the Ju88 and the Do215 claimed by MacDonald around 1340-1345, that one may have been misidentified ?

Cheers Andy,
Much appreciated.
Strange that MacDonnell is credited with a 110 on that date.
There is no mention of it anywhere in the squadron records.
I wonder what the source is.
Cheers

I will look through Alfred Price’s archive, but pretty sure the combat claim is correct.

Chris Goss may have image of Proske?
