US bomber panel

Hi guys. The chaps down at the Cornwall Aviation Heritage Center (Ex Classic Air Force) have been loaned what purports to be a panel from a US bomber but have no idea what it’s from. They sent me a picture to see if I could shed any light on it but after deciding it wasn’t from a Canberra I came up dry. I realise there’s not a lot to go on, but I was wondering if anyone here could shed any light it at worst point me in the right direction. Many thanks in advance

Maybe even a panel someone has made up to house some instruments ?, seems a strange layout.

Then again, I know nothing about these things.

Looks more like a panel from a post-war airliner.

Bendix and Pioneer-manufactured instrumentation points to an American type.
