Relic Spitfire Mk1 parts for ID

Recently found MK1 parts that were discarded from a 1970s dig… Some are that bad you can see why they were discarded but am hoping some of you knowledgable folks may be able to help ID some of them for me.

First three parts… first up and my favourite is what appears to be the gyroscope compass, squashed flat but presumably what it is.

Second up is a piece that has a bakerlite connector to it.

Third is presumably a fuel connector.

More to follow…

Many thanks in advance

Hi Steve, your first post I think may be the adjustable crown, found on the top of a P8 Compass..the script is very similar.
The square bakelite is probably a terminal block 5c/430-431 or thereabouts.
Post 2 ? Radio mounts?
Post 3, the thin piece with the red paint, I suspect its from a control surface ie fabric covered and is the remains of the red dope.
The large gnarly item maybe part of the oxygen system judging by the shapes and connections.

Kind Regards Mike

In the second batch of photos, I think the first item is a corner of the radio racking. The round profile is the base of the spring. The numbering on the first piece looks like nothing I’ve seen on a Spit. Intriguing!
Googling shows the first piece to be the tuning dial from the radio. http://spitfirespares.co.uk/radio.html

Last lot

The back of an instrument presumably? it has an inspectors stamp in a circle but the numbers are hard to read but looks like a 39

A small section with assembly number 300 65.13 I know 300 is Spitfire I and I think 65 is fuel tank (?), the 13 is?

In among all the various twisted section of junk was this small scrap that was painted red, just wondering what may have been painted red on thin alloy that this may have come from?

Thanks for taking a look and any suggestions or IDs gratefully appreciated.

Cheers

Next up is one that I will amazed if anyone can get. I cleaned it off in hope rather than expectation and it does in fact seem to be a very badly damaged instrument… On what appears to be the damaged face which is also covered in some corrosion there is a capital letter E but nothing else readable.

The second part appeared to be part of instrument panel but I am not so sure now as there is no where for any pipes or wires to out of the back so am unsure on it.

Cheers
S.
