Only did one summer season on them but remember them well. Very cold sitting on a box by 1R at 03:00 when the pax were asleep. The more senior CC having preference over the seat!
Coming back empty from MAN, lining up, brakes on, power up and then letting it go like a rocket cause ATC had already cleared you up to whatever level as the skies were quiet. The area around us certainly wasn’t with the noise we must have made. Colleagues trying to surf down the aisle on a tray when we did it!
