Warbirds Of Great Britain imported Corsair Old Blue/N49092 into the UK between 1988-1990. Do any pictures exist of it at Biggin ? Not one of the most photographed Corsairs on the WWW I am wondering had it been returned to near stock appearance by the time it entered our shores ?

I know what you mean The Bump. I think we are probably in a period where everything is better documented than ever before in terms of photographs. Wish I had a camera the very first and to date only time I sat in a Spit.
Many thanks to all that have shared photographs. Great period images.

That very airframe was the first warbird I ever sat in. Biggin around November 1988.
No pics I’m afraid, if only camera phones had been been around back then !

If you type in Biggin Hill Corsair or Moving a Corsair from Biggin Hiĺl into YouTube you will find a film of the aircraft still in primer being transported out of Biggin Hill by road
Another picture of this Corsair at Biggin Hill in 1988

Hi Olympus, I was allowed to photograph NX49092 ‘101-S’ Bu97280 in the hangar at Biggin on 20th June 1988. By January 1991 it was in primer (no photos though).
