What engine is this from ? First correct answer gets a frothy beer AND a pat on the back.

Hi Powerandpassion, Alan and all,
Thanks for the pint, it was tasty, full bodied and fruity, just like the buxom wench !
Alan, the rocker arm assembly can rotate on its location before tightening the locking ring.

Silly question why does the push rod and rocker appear to be mounted 180o out of position on your cylinder?

Napier Rapier.
Happy new year.
Andy
One pint of the best served with a wink by a buxom wench ! Knew a Napier Man would be along sooner or later, well done !

Done deal !
Not a Le Rhone or Jupiter, not a radial……

Dammit P+P its hot enough as it is, just come around for the beer, I’m thirsty :p
I’ll say Le Rhone or Jupiter – but youd better come around and ID those Mossie parts with the beer in tow anyway !

With the cylinder fins appearing to have ‘squared’ off sides is this off a an air cooled inline engine?
John
OK, you win a beer coaster but more work required for beer !

AS Lynx?
No beer!
By: Arabella-Cox - 28th December 2015 at 15:35
I considered that one myself, TT, having that prominent valve/rocker case but discounted it on the basis that all the AS engines used a lock ring to secure the cylinders into the crank case. The cylinder in P&P’s pic has a four-hole flange.
