A contact in the Azeville area of France has apparently come across a part of a Horsa ” in use as a room”. He has aquired several small parts including a short length of tow cable with comms wires within.
Can anyone identify what the various parts are? …see his photo.

The same towing eye was used at the tug end. The size and construction of the rope looks right for the Horsa.

that is the release eye when being towed, I think there was a leaver in the cockpit that allowed you to disconnect from the towing aircraft.
