Fuel or hydraulic pump?

Would appreciate any help in identifying what type of pump this would of been part of? The only numbers I can see stamped are G106 on the top of the black section.

Had to look that one up lol, but yes it’s feasible, thank you. I’ll have another look and see if there’s anything suggesting the use of one on the Wyvern.

It may be the remains of a Swashplate pump.

Thanks Alan. It came from a Wyvern crash site so is something to do with the Python engine or the hydraulic system. Trouble is I can’t find anything like it in the AP’s. Like you ive seen similar listed for both uses but I’d still like to tie it down more accurately!

It is similar to, but not the same as, a pump which was used on some models of Merlin. On a diagram in Flight it is marked as a fuel pump and on a different diagram is marked as an oil pump but it is the same pump which is being pointed to in both.
