Joe McBryan, owner and president of Buffalo Airways and star of Ice Pilots NWT, has signed a letter agreeing to step away from the day-to-day operations of the airline, according to a consultant working to help the beleaguered company have its suspended air operator certificate reinstated.

If they’re gone for god, I suppose they’ll be replaced by a bunch of young guys with white shirts (with epaulets of course) flying Dash 8s. Boring. 🙂

The pilot that flew all of the drops in that dambuster re-enactment was named Artie.
They succeeded with the mission. He has since passed away.

Oh no, the great dambuster re-enactors are finished! (I think it was a Buffalo aircraft used in that documentary about the Bouncing Bomb)

Joe seemed to always butting heads with the officials of the CAA – maybe they tired of it and decided this action? Shame if they go out of business as their fleet is pretty unique…
