Three on their site for sale at £150k plus each. But in good condition but no engines otherwise complete with all paperwork. All a it out of our league. The previous lot all stripped were scrapped approx 7 I think from Gosport. The ones sold from Withams 2 years back are rumoured to have been scrapped after the buyer found he could not fly them.

Yes, you’ll probably never be able to sing ‘We Three Kings…’ again without stumbling, especially after some Christmas cheer.
I’m sure there was a Royal Navy drinking song along those lines

Two more Sea Kings one ex Royal Navy and one ex RAF SAR arrived at Withams this week.

The price seems very high if you can’t fly them, they’re too stripped for display, and all the useful bits that might be useful as S-61 spares are missing.
Seems like all you’d be getting in scrap metal with a good story. But I had a laugh…the title of this thread reminded me of a Christmas carol….

Somewhere over the last year or so I have seen a post somewhere on a forum about a Sea King being used as a movie prop representing a VH-3D Marine One In a crash.
Anyone know of any surplus Sea Kings that might have been used?

Four of the newer ZH serial HAR.3As have gone to Belgium (1) and Norway (3) alas they are for spares only.

If these are none fly able as well then I think the price is a bit ambitious
