This is a very worthwhile non-profit organisation trying to raise 180,000 Euros as the local contribution to a nationally subsidised 600,000 euro scheme to do a proper recovery of Stirling W6730 and her four missing crewmembers in Echt (the Netherlands). The recovery (if fundraising is succesfull) will be carried out by an experienced civil firm which works very closely together with a Dutch air force unit specialized in the recovery of WW2 aircraft and crew. Interesting link Eric. Coincidentally, I’ve heard through the grapevine that there are plans to present relatives of the crew with a Bomber Command clasp at RAF Wyton on 16/12/15, has anybody else heard about this?
