I came across this in the credits of a film on Youtube.
I’m sure a few of us can relate to this.

I wish at the end of Mosquito Squadron they could have put,
No Mosquito’s were harmed during the making of this film

If this is the film I think it is, I like the landing gear sequence, where the tail wheel retracts as the main wheels extend!

Anyone listening to Chris Evans has only themselves to blame 🙂

[QUOTE=Moggy C;2266466]I am more disappointed by ‘might of’.
How about that band of people who use the word nothink instead of nothing? , and whilst on the subject of grammar or mispronunciation did anyone hear Adele on Chris Evan’s show this morning?]

With apologies for drift – “I was sat” instead of “I was sitting” is even more grating and it’s all pervasive!:(

Ditto: I thought this was Bristolian for ‘might have’, but it seems to be spreading…

I applaud their “labor of love ” in making a film.
However, if they were history buffs, they should have known that the “Army Air Corps” did not operate B-17s over Europe.
By that time it was the Army Air Forces. 🙂
It seems not only couldn’t they get the right equipment, they couldn’t do rather basic research.
I haven’t seen their film, but I’m sure it’s better than my (non-existent) B-17 film.

Hi All,
Talking of credits! Did anybody watch Fargo S2 Ep1 last night ? A scene in a diner had a mural on the back wall and it features SALLY-B……:DGeoff.
I saw that, although my wife was less than impressed at my knowledge of such a fact.
Presumably it would have been a scene from Memphis Belle, made 11 years after the programme was set…
Nit picking? Me? 🙂

Yes, I inwardly groan (at least I think it is only inwardly) when confronted with such language. But more than that, I thought the notice seemed rather vain. No-one has any obligation to co-operate with whatever they might have been doing.

I too didn’t like ‘might of’. We need to find a community of like minded individuals on the internet to validate our outrage at this grammatical inaccuracy.
Yes … me too :/

Oh Mogster, I’m so glad I’m not the only one to feel that particular disappointment. Philistines.

At least they were honest!
I’ve got this film in the stash, and haven’t seen it in a long time. I might break it out over the weekend…
