There are many detailed pictures of the remains on the web. It is a sorry sight, and I’m surprised a museum has taken them on TBH, although the Alabama folks do have experience of restoring saltwater-damaged items from when their own site was flooded some years back.

Good news. For many years that particular aircraft was based about 15 miles from me for fire duty. Saw it fly over many times.
