Some nice Hollywood WW2 rubbish

I do like the bomb load at the end of the film.
We can’t loose the war with a load like that!

I’m sure you understand that bombsights were a bit “hush hush” then. IIRC, in the wartime American film “Bombardier” they used a simple black box with some switches on it.

People, give the film bashing a break…it’s not like they could go to the corner store and buy a genuine bombsight.
Plenty of film makers (UK and American) did stuff (models, mockups, planes trying to pass for something they’re not) back then that looks silly now.
We’re talking about a film that 70-ish years old.

And I hate to disillusion you, but the Titanic didn’t really sink in any of the films on it, and the dinosaurs aren’t real either.
PS. There is no Hogwarts…so don’t go looking for the bl**dy train.

I think that’s not quite on a par with the Battle of Britain Film’s, Spitfire/Hurricane/Buchon/Hurricane again…or something of that sequence anyway xD

Well, y’know, I have to get my own continuity error in to keep the theme going… Mind you, IMDB suggests it was filmed at Universal Studios.

Take off in a Boston, make a low pass in a Bisley and then bomb in a Wellington – but one without geodetic construction, is suspiciously spacious and admirably quiet! A good trick if you can do it!
