Absolutely delighted that the Lanc is back in the air, after missing her first season since (I think) 1978? Must admit I thought they’d have had her back for the unveiling of the Bomber Command Memorial, but they work enough miracles so I don’t want to sound picky. Cracking job by all concerned.
Not fussed on the idea of it flying with the Reds though- a bit of superficial ‘Ooh’ and ‘Ahh’ aside, anything flying with the Reds doesn’t really mean anything for me.

The Hawks the Red Arrows use are not modern Moggy, some are the same age the Lancaster was when it was gifted to the Battle of Britain Flight.

Excellent news.
A story from a couple of years ago, I am having lunch with my sister at Queens Quay in Toronto.
And I heard a familiar drone,it was the Lancaster, & not one person looked up as she flew over Billy Bishop Airport.
Not everyone cares or knows about aircraft, my pun get the press on board & “The Skys the limit”!
