Two Baffins or one Baffin and one Ripon?

Mark

If memory serves me correctly there are the remains of 2 or 3 Baffins in NZ.

Ah, ok, cheers Bob.
Always good to hear news of other projects of shall we say less ‘glamorous’ types on the go.!

Can’t help I’m afraid but any chance of any more information on this project?

Rob

Hi Rob

No it’s not the Subritzky’s example.
There are other examples of the Ripon/Baffin family out there.

I’ll ask the person I was contacted by, if it’s Ok to give out some more info.

Cheer’s.

Unfortunately in this case, the investigator was not in possession of the facts, and based his conclusions on his own oppinion, the oppinions of his friends, and his own beliefs and self interests.

I called in again to see family Subritzky in October 2013. The creation and progress was impressive. The small assemblies and nondescript parts that were turning up…just amazing.

First the Vincent and now a Baffin.

Here is a bit more recent photo of the Baffin. Lots of work before this one flies, but let’s hope for the best.

I just noticed quite a bit of discussion of a Baffin project in “Wings Over New Zealand” in 2012/13 but it suddenly stops!
