True but as with any filming usually more than half can be binned and it’s far better to have a really well edited 80 mins than a poorly cut, repetitive 3 hours…..anyway we’ll see!:)

Not knocking it at all,i am just surprised that there must’ve been 1000’s of hours of footage and it is in a single 83 min dvd.

I would suspect that the rights to the tour DVD were pre-sold as part of the funding to make the trip happen in the first place. On that basis I wouldn’t expect anyone else will be producing their own DVD

I must admit i thought there would have been enough interest and footage to make 2 dvds ,one dvd 83 mins long makes it seem they have crammed it in,i hope not.
In Canada you would have the pre flight with the maintenance,planning ,logistics ,briefings and the journey itself over to the UK with it’s stop overs.
The arrival + any BBMF briefings for the meet up,
The veterans
Training flights and briefings before the actual displays and then all the behind the scenes for the displays ,flypasts over the old airfields /memorials .
I wonder if the BBMF will make one of their version of the tour?
