that was the only 777 painted in that scheme? Wow i travelled on it from amsterdam to Washingtomn dulles and back in the summer, I could not figure out what type it was for sure but i thought it was a 200 can anyone verify that? On the way threre i think we had some form of near miss with a 737 while in a stack when dulles was closed in a storm, is there any way of checking this as well?

United only operate the 200 version of the 777.

The reason why they are only a few aircraft with the new livery is because UA are strictly only painting aircraft that are comming out of heavign Maintenance and or C or D checks where the plane is stripped to the bare metal anyway and required repainting.
