Geoff Landon-Browne, a very good mate of mine, is well-known here. But seeing this interview in the Ottawa Citizen online newspaper, I thought it deserved a wider circulation
Here’s Geoff in glory sitting in his cockpit. It’s been a very great pleasure to help him with the supply of original Avro drawings.
Virtually every thing of the Lanc that you see here has been made by him in his own workshop using original drawings and his stock of instruments.
Here’s the link to the Ottawa Citizen interview video http://ottawacitizen.com/news/local-news/rebuilding-history-bombers-flight-deck-one-of-war-buffs-reconstructed-treasures
The audio for the video is set mute to start with, you’ll need to switch on the audio.
His project really has only just begun. There’s the cockpit floor, nav’s station with a full set of equipment, similarly the Wop’s station and, if I can ever get my act together to keep him supplied with drawings, the nose section.

Very very nice, I really like those one man projects. Shows what can be done with just determination.
