Old but not sad!!!:D
Nice of you to think so Charlie, we don’t seem to disagree on much. 🙂
I find the older I get the more I see our engineering heritage being destroyed or thrown away the sadder I get.
Thinking of taking up gardening.

Certainly wouldn’t disagree with that Jeepman just a comment in general.
Slightly older man.

I’m with TA on this. Basic rule of advertising clear, concise and accurate. Full location and date should be clearly on front including post code. Often find many do not quote postcode. You should not have to go searching for this basic info.
Sad old man.

Any minor effort needed to find the address of the Victory Show is more than compensated for by the air and land content. Where else do you get planes upto the size of a Dakota landing on a couple of fields over the hedge from you in what must be a perfect representation of a Normandy Advanced Landing Ground.
For my part, I think it knocks the War and Peace Show into a cocked hat.

I am sure that’s true – there are after all good websites and bad websites by design and/or function. Some take a bit more effort, some less, but if I felt really strongly I think I’d contact them direct rather than having a moan here – even though I am getting OLD!!:D
By: Wyvernfan - 28th August 2015 at 15:22
I’ve not seen this particular website but to be fair to TA there have been other websites and adverts for shows etc that I’ve really struggled to find the venue / address details for. I always thought it was just me being me 😉

No I would rather moan here like old people do
By: Mike J - 28th August 2015 at 14:52
Trolley Aux, have you contacted the organisers with your concern? A quick email would have taken you less time than the three posts you’ve made here, and been far more useful.

Think I’m older than you but not as picky…:p:D
By: Trolly Aux - 28th August 2015 at 13:31
it should be at the top, When you look at a front page of an event you need the info right in front, you make a decision if its close to you or in another county, country.
Maybe its me but its the thing you need to know, WHAT WHERE WHEN, obviously they think everyone knows.
Getting old n picky

But Charlie, when your advertising the event the main things you show is
EVENT
DATE
LOCATIONA very poor website when you have to hunt for an address
It’s at the bottom of page one

They did. The address is at the foot of the website and in the drop down menu under contact us. And there’s a clue in the left hand column for the weather forecast for Cosby!!
By: Arabella-Cox - 28th August 2015 at 09:06
well how hard could it be for the website designers to actually put the address of the event somewhere clear, still cannot find it,
Looks a great show if you know where it is !
Agreed. I found it under ‘contact details’.
