If you are interested in Soviet use of the Airacobra in combat, you might try Dmitry Loza’s Attack of the Airacobra or Evgeniy Marlinskiy’s Red Star Airacobra, though I think the classic Airacobra memoir (Fifth Air Force) is Nanette.

I once met a man from Eire who worked at the Ruskie end of this op, he was a farmer with a sense of fair play and humor.

As an author you must take in a bit more than Mr Average, I would like to know more about air ops over there in WW2.

The cannon in the Bell Cobra’s must have made an impact point somewhere.
