Grasshoppers team crash in Switzerland

News is coming in that one pilot died when 2 out of 3 ultralights collided at a show in Dittingen, near Basle, this morning. One pilot is said to have “ejected”, which could mean used a pyrotechnic parachute system.
It was a formation of Ikarus C-42 from the German Grasshoppers formation team. Very, very sad. What a bad weekend after the Shoreham disaster. My thoughts go out to all involved.
