Bit of fun… Desert Island Discs

Tweaking the format ever so slightly, what would be your piece of music, book and luxury item. All aviation themed of course.

Sorry if this has been done before! Thought it might be a fun idea.

If it’s all to be aviation themed then Holst is ruled out as are many other great pieces so probably the full Walton score for BoB, First Light and not sure about Gemma Arterton’s aviation connections, but Moggy will dream on:D – so my own personal Dragon Rapide with a limitless supply of fuel.

Soundtrack music from BoB, Piece of Cake, Gemma Arterton, or maybe Gemma Chan? (Decisions, decisions)

Music: The Planets, Book: U.S. Military Aircraft since 1908 by Swanborough and Bowers.
And not being stupid, for a luxury item a Grumman Albatross so I could leave the island any time I wanted. 🙂
