Anyone heard more of this? Just found this Greek site, but even with Google translate not much info there

One blade out of three feathered?
I didn’t think that was likely.
It takes a big impact with something and a lot of internal prop damage! Not feathered – just graunched a lot.

If you look at all the pictures -it is evident tat the starboard engine was feathered before the force landing-the 3 crew were helped away. Shortly afterwards the fire turned & consumed the entire aircraft. They were skilled & lucky.

Both engines have the same thing on the props

Notice the propellers on near engine!
One blade is out of alignment with other 2, never saw that before.

Looks like someone’s guardian angel has been doing overtime. I’m glad I don’t have to handle their laundry!

The recent forced landing involved HAF 1070. The mention of that prior delivery of two ex Canadian examples to Turkey reminded me of the crew training and the unfortunate damage inflicted on one airframe when the undercarriage was not lowered during landing back at base. There is a clip on YouTube showing that rather dramatic arrival!

Buffalo Airways leased/sold a couple to Turkey – they flew them across the pond a couple of years ago and was followed on the TV series…

Ice pilots? Firefighting in Greece? I somehow think not! 🙂

Is it one of those featured on Ice Pilots ?

Indeed! Seems they parked it right on a mountain. Looks to be a Greek AF example.

Looking at the surrounding terrain that is one heck of a skilful force landing.
