Looking at a picture of this aeroplane the other day and I was quite intrigued by it. Does anyone know if it has featured in any magazine articles giving indepth gen about it? , and if so what mag. Thanks in advance.

Air International ( as Air Enthusiast) ran an overview on it in Oct 72 (pp178 -180) including a three view . Also covered in Aircraft of the Fighting Powers Vol vii p.p. 50 with a reasonable 1/72nd 3 view.
‘Sabrejet’, Joe Vella in “Air Enthusiast ” covered CAAC , issue 61 ( Jan-Feb 96) p.p.25-35 , including a bit on the beast..

Can’t think of a magazine article off hand, but how about a book?
“Wirraway, Boomerang & CA-15 in Australian Service” by Stewart Wilson.
Published in about 1991, and probably quite difficult to get a copy now.

You’re a bit limited if you’re only looking at magazine articles. However Australian archives (naa.gov.au) hold a file on the aircraft:
Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation. CA Bomber, and Fighter/Interceptor (CA15)
Contents date range 1943 – 1945
Series number MP12/3
Click to see which government agency or person created this item.
Control symbol C/3/C
Citation NAA: MP12/3, C/3/C
Item barcode 318236
Location Melbourne
I think Air International ran a short resume of CAC types, but I can’t recall which issue. Nothing in-depth however.
