I hope no one minds posting a link to the other forum, but considering its history with the BCATP, I thought it would be of interest here.
The prototype North American Yale, NX13397 has a new home.
Though nicely restored, it hadn’t flown in many years due to the owner’s advance age.
It later served with the RCAF and ended up on Ernest Simmon’s farm where it (along with other Yales, Swordfish and other ex-RCAF aircraft) were famously auctioned in 1970.
