Typhoon reunion at Jet Age Museum

As part of our Armed Forces Day commemorations and in conjunction with the Typhoon Entente Cordiale Trust, we had a reunion of Typhoon veterans last Saturday. It was the first public outing for cockpit project too, which is progressing well.

Joining us were Sqn Ldr Percy Beake DFC, Flt Lt David Ince DFC, Flt Lt John Shellard, Flt Lt Derek Lovell, Flt Lt Derek Tapson, Flt Lt Paddy Byrne and Rev. Flt Lt George Wood.

It was wonderful to hear their stories and see the memories come flooding back when they got their hands on the restored instrument panels.
